Stargazing
Have you ever wondered what the Milky Way is exactly, why some stars seem to twinkle, or how far the stars are from the Earth? If so, spend an evening gazing up at the stars in the clear skies over Namibia.
Depending on the season, you may even be able to see the planet Venus, the rings of Saturn or mighty Jupiter with its striped clouds and four giant moons.
The evening starts outdoors, where you will learn about the Southern Cross and how to find your bearings at night. Your guide will point out some of the typical constellations in the southern sky, and talk about distances in space. You will then move inside the observatory with its giant telescope.
This trip is booked and paid for to our tour partner in Namibia.
