Z Hotel Zanzibar
Situated at the northern tip of Zanzibar on the famous Nungwi beach is the fabulous Z Hotel.
Enjoy the relaxed, intimate vibe, which is aimed especially at couples and smaller groups, as the hotel’s age limit is 16+. The beach is white, the water is clear and warm, and the little town of Nungwi offers small cafés, lots of shopping and a good range of activities.
There are only 40 rooms here, all of which have art on the walls, colourful cushions and lampshades that create a cosy contrast to the coconut wood furniture. Each room has its own character. All rooms have air conditioning, a flat screen TV, a minibar, a safe and Wi-Fi. All of the rooms also have a private balcony with garden furniture.
The hotel’s two restaurants enjoy great views of the beach and the turquoise-blue sea. So, you can enjoy some good food and drink with a great view of the Indian Ocean. One restaurant serves light, Asian-inspired dishes and classic café food, while the main restaurant offers an exciting menu with new interpretations of African and European cuisine, as well as an array of seafood dishes. Cocktails are served on the top floor – the perfect place to enjoy the sunset. It’s also here at the top of the hotel that you’ll find the yoga centre.
Enjoy the large pool, go for a walk on the beach, read a good book in the shade of a parasol or enjoy a good massage in the hotel’s fabulous day spa.
