Mombasa – Tsavo East – Mombasa. (Tour of approximately 260 km)
Our day trip to Tsavo East in Mombasa, Kenya, starts early so we get as much time in Tsavo East as possible.
Departure from the ship or hotel is at 05:30 am. Here we drive along the main road between Nairobi and Mombasa on a scenic two-hour trip.
Along the way, we take a short break to enjoy breakfast and refreshments.
We drive into the Tsavo East National Park through Bachumaporten and start our observation of elephant, lion, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, antelope and many other animals. We eat lunch at a rustic restaurant, giving time to reflect on our experiences of the Tsavos plains.
After lunch we continue our safari and later in the day we leave Tsavo East to travel back to Mombasa in the late afternoon.
