Boat trip on the Rufiji River

The Rufiji River is Tanzania’s longest river, and one of the best ways to enjoy the unique bird life is on a boat safari. More than 440 different bird species have been registered here. The birds are at their most numerous from November–April, when the migratory birds benefit from the life-giving river, but you can see lots of birds all year round.
